The last time Owen (Mike Kinsella) hit UK shores in November 2019, he played a sold-out show at the much-loved venue The Lexington, London where we were lucky enough to record some tracks for the occasion.
The 7" collects a quartet of classics from across Kinsella's esteemed solo career, including the entrancing The Sad Waltzes of Pietro Crespi from 2006's At Home with Owen, the lilting O, Evelyn (originally a standalone single before appearing on 2011's Ghost Town LP), Love is Not Enough from 2013's critically-acclaimed L'Ami du Peuple, and fan-favourite Playing Possum for a Peek, which first saw the light of day on the beloved I Do Perceive LP back in 2004.
The result is an exclusive 7”, featuring a handful of beautiful tracks from that, available on two variants – transparent yellow and black. It's also streaming now.
