Virtual Popup - 27th July - 2nd August 2020
Having closed the doors early to our Brighton Popup in March, we promised that we would be back, only this time we decided to go completely virtual, live and on screens around the world. For the last week of July we opened our Virtual Popup doors in a post-apocalyptic desert, featuring all of our usual exclusive vinyl and merch, a bar stocked to the rafters by our good friends at Signature Brew and t-shirts for sale in aid of Black Minds Matter UK and Music Venues Trust.
The week long extravaganza also featured live performances from the likes of Kevin Devine, We Were Promised Jetpacks, illuminati hotties, Nervus, Proper., Orchards and more, while we also sat down a bunch of our roster for a catch up including Cassels, Gender Roles, Alpha Male Tea Party, Chris Farren and Martha. We also had a live Q&A with Delta Sleep while Jamie Lenman let us into his home while he interviewed himself.
It was a really fun yet challenging week, but we really enjoyed putting it all together for you while the world won’t allow us to hang together just yet. We really hope you enjoyed our popup from the comfort of your own home, and hopefully we’ll be back in person soon!
Brighton Popup - 17th - 29th March 2020 - Postponed
11 Dukes Lane, Brighton, BN1 1BG
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we have sadly come to the decision that as of Friday 20th March, we will no longer be carrying on with our Brighton Popup Shop.
All instores have been postponed, except for Dev (Delta Sleep). This will be a closed performance and will not be open to the public, however we are inviting you all to join us on instagram where we will be live streaming and recording for future viewing. Times will be confirmed shortly.
Between now and Friday we are using the shop as our office, and if you are in the local area and wanted to pop by to pick up some vinyl or merch you still can - if you are unwell please do not come.
We’ve got so many new and exciting products on offer here, so we thought we’d open up our popup as a virtual experience. On Wednesday at midday, we’ll be offering a personal shopping service via our instagram stories. We’ll be guiding you through all of the stock on offer, and if you would like to order anything we’ll get it packaged and delivered right to your door.
We understand that people should not be travelling at the moment but we want to make sure that as many of you can access our record store as possible - even from the comfort of your own home.
THE GOOD NEWS - we’re not quite finished with you yet Brighton. Plans are already in the works for us to return with a top up popup later in the year. Same place, same unit, different time. All of those details will be announced soon.
Brighton. We love you, we tried. Fuck Coronavirus. Stay safe out there.

Glasgow Popup - November/December 2019
For the last weekend in November 2019, we opened our popup shop in Glasgow. Slinging records and merch, we also invited the wonderful Adam Thompson from We Were Promised Jetpacks and locals Spyres in for intimate acoustic performances, alongside a live interview with Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai/Rock Action, Speed Mentoring Sessions and a label meet up.
We also raised a bunch of cash for Tiny Changes with help from Stefan Babcock of PUP, who designed a delightful t-shirt for us, Many Studios who let us use their studio for the event, and lovely refreshment from Brewgooder, Re:Stalk Cider and Drygate Brewery. A marvellous weekend, albeit the minus 4 degree temperature.
Cardiff Popup - April 2018
For one week in April 2018, we opened the doors to our first ever Cardiff popup shop. We brought the label right to the city with in-store performances from the likes of Jamie Lenman, Slaughter Beach Dog, Nervus, Orchards and Worriers, as well as a shop visit from the Tiny Moving Parts boys.
London Popup - Feb 2017
To celebrate reaching 200 releases and our sweet 16th birthday we opened a popup shop in East London for two weeks in January 2017.
It included instores from Modern Baseball, Kevin Devine, Beach Slang, Gnarwolves, Delta Sleep and Tall Ships, a cocktail bar setup and run by Tiny Moving Parts, a dog day, live screen printing, a few hundred beers and loads of lovely customers. You can see more pictures of the event here.
