Jamie Lenman - Muscle Memory Max 2LP + Live 2LP Bundle

Behold! To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of it's release, Muscle Memory is being re-released on black vinyl for the first time ever! Made up of 2 LPs in a tri-gatefold sleeve, complete with a massive 19 track bonus pop-out CD, all completely remixed and remastered never before heard gems, acoustic versions and alternative takes; this is the perfect addition to any Lenman fans collection.

“I was never supposed to have a solo career, but then Muscle Memory just sort of happened and it kicked off ten years of records and touring. It was just supposed to be a fun project that would give me and Sean a reason to hang out, like two buddies fixing up an old car or something. There was no budget, no deadline, and of course it quickly spiralled out of control. I think it’s pretty obvious that I was going through a kind of crisis at the time, but the result is fascinating and I’m very proud of it,” says Lenman.

This bundle also includes an exclusive live album Jamie Lenman and The Heavy Mellow Band Live in London, originally recorded in April 2014 at The Islington Assembly Rooms. It is pressed to double black* vinyl and you'll get this with a DVD, released via Lockjaw. 

“Doing the live shows with the brass band was really a way to see if I could top the album, to do something that I would have thought impossible previously. I don’t think I’ll ever do anything that extravagant again, so I’m glad we had it filmed and recorded. Even though the show was about half a year after the album, it made sense to put them out together because they’re kind of a question and answer to each other. You hear this crazy noise on the album and you think “OK, how are they going to do this live?” and then you hear the show and you’re like, “Holy shit, they pulled it off!”
